@cinerius @mishdogg So maybe before announcing anything, GS should first consult with you or other users to find out what's considered 'new' to them? It's very presumptuous of you to think that just because you're aware of something, others must also know about it, and what's news to you should be news to everyone. Maybe GS should just appoint you to determine what's worthy of announcing.
In general GS doesn't care what's new to 'cinerius'. They announce news and big events, period. They DID announce the beginning of the contest, and also the quarter finals, so if they don't announce the winner it looks strange and suspicious at the very least.
And just because the people who voted already know who won, it doesn't mean that the result isn't worthy of announcing to the rest of GS. It is.
If the Top 5 Skyrim Mods are regularly announced to all of GS every damn week, I think that a one-time big event like the best series of decade should be worth announcing.
