25th of November: A trademark is filed for Shenmue 3

26th of November: An announcement that Yu Suzuki would be giving a postmortem of Shenmue with Mark Cerny as translator at GDC.

27th of November: Someone realizes a trademark has been filed for Shenmue 3.

29th of November: Sega denounces said trademark as their doing.

Doesn't this smell odd to you?
