The Gist - 3 Reasons Why PC Is Still My Platform Of Choice

Well for me... when it comes to FPSs and Strategies (and some TPSs), PC is the place to go. (tho I guess you can always buy keyboard and mouse for PS3 and XBox, but selection of FPSs and Strategies isn't as large)

Point and Click adventures (at least those that I've played aren't really that bad on consoles either, since precision and time aren't of that much importance.

However when it comes to fighting games for example they're almost unplayable on keyboard (unless you have really expensive gaming keyboard, so that there's no delay), as well as my favorite genre, jRPGs so I play those on PS (X,2,3) (apart from the fact that Tekken, Soul Calibur, (and few other fighting games), Final Fantasy games (as well as almost any other jRPGs) don't actually come out for PCs (not counting MMO FFs)).

Also... PC almost has a complete lack TRPGs (or SRPGs or jSRPGs or however you like to call them), Disgaea <3.

3rd person games, such as Ninja Gaiden, God of War, Bayonetta, DMC, Castlevania LoS, all play a lot better on consoles (tho almost none of them are available for PC anyway).

Platformers are usually more precise on Joypad, but it's not like I had any problems playing most of them on PC either.

Biggest advantage that consoles do have over PCs is that you can actually play all new games that will come out for it in next 6-7 years, as well as less bugs, since some bugs pop up depending on your PC configuration, while there's barely difference between consoles when it comes to hardware (I'm reffering to never models as well as Slim versions and so on).

For PC you actually have to upgrade it or upgrade your Windows version to play some games (like I had for Battlefield 3 for example (which I never did tho lol)).

So I'm split by what I feel like playing...
