*sigh*
Capcom is stupid. I really wish they would release this on a decent console with actual 4 player split-screen support. Such as Xbox or Playstation. I don't think the 3DS or the Wii U has the type of audience that suits MH very well. Capcom certainly knows it would have flopped (in sales, anyways) if released on the Wii U. So instead they release exclusively on the 3DS, which yes, it will likely do much better on but it will never grow in success and popularity when serving such a niche area of gaming. People want to play games like MH on the console that they and all their friends have. The console that they play most of all games they own on. People just want to gear up, and slay some motherfucking monsters with their friends on PSN or XBL. They don't want to deal with friend codes, limited controls and poor graphics.
I'm not even saying releasing on the 3DS is a bad thing, but I just want more for the series. I don't want it to die with Capcom as they are going bankrupt. Do something smart and expand the franchise to save yourselves from tanking.
