First episode was great. The story so far is rather simple (and there is some room for improvement in dialogues) but whole experience was engaging and with hand-drawn visual style the game looks beautiful.
My only issue with this game is facial animation - it's so bad to the point of being distracting (lipsync here is pretty much non-existent, in some scenes it's hard to tell Max' narration from actual line of dialogue). It wouldn't be that much of a problem for some shooter or action but in the game with such emphasis on story and emotions it's really annoying.
