Hold on.  I can't stop thinking about Jess. . . I can't help it.

Okay. I've snapped out of it. Things have changes recently.  China has just ended it's ban on consoles, so I assume that 2M sales figure would have to be adjusted for the inclusion or the exclusion of console games sold in the Chinese market.

It's not my call.

Sales aren't everything.  What about the cost you put into making the game and marketing.

You can have a top selling game or movie but still lose money or barely break even.

Sales do tell you what the majority will buy.   EA NHL series > Capcom games.  I don't think the NHL series is the biggest seller, but you do get lots of playtime, fun and more than your money's worth in return.
